Statutes Concerning Condominiums
The Massachusetts Condominium Statute, G.L. c. 183A, comprehensively states all requirements for the creation and legal maintenance of a condominium in Massachusetts. These include:
- The preparation and recording of a Master Deed that describes the condominium,
- Provisions for common area assessments, and liens against the units to enforce them,
- Provisions for a corporation, trust or unincorporated association to manage the condominium on behalf of the unit owners through common area assessments, etc.
